It’s been incredibly dry and sunny the last week or so and it’s meant that the trails have improved tons, so I figured it was time to switch the bike to a spring set up with a pair of Nobby Nic 2.25 Pacestar Evo’s.
I wasn’t sure the Nobby Nics would actually go on and it took me over 30 mins to stick them on my wheels (DT Swiss 4.2d’s) as the bead was so tight, my tyre levels may not speak to me again!!
Selle Italia Flite 1990
It was also an excuse to put on the Selle Italia Flite 1990 saddle I picked up off eBay last week, I used to love these 10 years ago and always rode using them, having taken this out of a spin I remember why now, it’s perhaps a little slippery right now, but it’s a perfect shape for comfort and also for tucking yourself behind of tricky descents.
